Challenge
At the beginning of 2017, sales of a client’s antenna brand was only doing four-digit sales per month and had a low take-rate. Verve Direct was tasked with driving sales for the product and increasing average order value (AOV).
Strategy
Verve Direct used a number of techniques to meet the challenge, including:
• Extensive creative and marketing angle testing and optimizations, including in several geographies outside of the U.S. and translations into various languages
• Split and price sensitivity testing
• Fine-tuning checkout pages with the addition of “simplified checkout” options
Results
Verve Direct’s in-house split and price testing increased the product’s upsell take-rate to almost 50% and added a double-digit increase to the AOV.
With the might of affiliate marketing, the antenna brand saw eight-figure revenues in two years of U.S. and international sales.
